Membership Terms & Conditions

These Membership Terms & Conditions apply to all applicants and members of Curious Club. By applying for and holding a membership, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Membership Requirement

1.1. Attendance at Curious Club events requires an active membership.
1.2. Membership grants access to the members-only area and eligibility to attend events but does not guarantee entry to any event.

2. Membership Term

2.1. All memberships are annual, commencing from the date of approval and payment.
2.2. Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the named member(s).

3. Membership Types

3.1. Curious Club offers the following membership types:

  • Couples Membership

  • Single Female Membership

  • Single Male Membership

  • CD / TV Membership

3.2. Memberships are defined by attendance type and may be subject to specific conditions, pricing, or approval processes.

4. Application & Approval

4.1. All memberships require completion of a membership application form prior to payment.
4.2. Single Male memberships are subject to an approval process and limited availability.

4.3 This club is designed specifically for adults aged 21 to 70 years old. Applicants must fall within this range at the time of joining.
4.3. Where capacity limits are reached, applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
4.4. Curious Club reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion.

5. Entry, Admission & Events

5.1. Membership does not guarantee entry to events.
5.2. Entry is subject to:

  • Capacity limits

  • Entry ratios

  • Event-specific requirements

  • Management discretion

5.3. Some events may require additional tickets or charges, payable separately from membership fees.
5.4. Nightly admission charges are payable at reception and are outlined on the Admission & Door Charges page.

6. Identification & Age Requirement

6.1. All members must be 18 years of age or over.
6.2. Valid photo ID must be provided on request as a condition of entry.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

7.1. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, consensual, and responsible manner at all times.
7.2. Curious Club operates a strict policy on intoxication. Members or guests who appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be permitted entry.
7.3. Members must comply with all club rules, event guidelines, and staff instructions.

8. Management Discretion

8.1. Curious Club management reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry

  • Remove individuals from the premises

  • Suspend or terminate memberships

8.2. Such decisions may be made to protect the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of members and staff.

9. Membership Suspension or Termination

9.1. Memberships may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Breach of these Terms & Conditions

  • Behaviour deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or inappropriate

  • Failure to comply with club policies

9.2. No refunds will be issued in the event of suspension or termination.

10. Refunds

10.1. Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
10.2. Event tickets and admission charges are subject to their own terms and may not be refundable.

11. Privacy & Data

11.1. Personal information collected during the application process is used solely for club administration and member communication.
11.2. Curious Club is committed to protecting member privacy and handling data responsibly.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1. Curious Club reserves the right to update or amend these Membership Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for membership and/or attending Curious Club events, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions.
